CATEGORY ASSIGNMENT BASED ON YEAR OF BIRTH
The organizer reserves the right to merge categories in case of a low number of participants, usually with a higher category.
KODIÁČEK A: year of birth 2021 and younger
1) SWIMMING/WADING – for children who cannot yet swim independently, this discipline will include wading/immersing the body up to the chest so they get wet and enjoy putting on shoes with wet feet :-). Children should complete the transition area independently. After exiting the water, parents may assist the child—handing a towel for drying, taking goggles, preparing and fastening shoes, etc. They must not hinder other competitors. Swimming/wading with a float is allowed for non-swimmers.
2) BIKE/BALANCE BIKE – the course runs on asphalt and a hardened path (200 m loop around the boathouse). A helmet is mandatory and must be properly fastened before entering the course.
3) RUN – children will run 100 m on grass. Running shoes are mandatory. Any competitor completing the course barefoot will be disqualified.
KODIÁČEK B: year of birth 2018–2020
1) SWIMMING 50 m – After exiting the water, parents may hand the child a towel for drying, take goggles, help put on and fasten shoes, etc. They must not hinder other competitors. Swimming equipment (goggles, cap) must then be placed back in their spot in the transition area.
2) BIKE 800 m – the course runs on asphalt and a hardened path (800 m). A helmet is mandatory and must be properly fastened before entering the course.

1) SWIMMING 100 m – The swimming section will be marked with buoys. Children must handle the transition area independently; entry of accompanying persons is prohibited. Before the race, they must prepare everything needed for transitions (towel, race number, bike, shoes, helmet, cap…). Swimming equipment (goggles, cap) must be placed back in their spot in the transition area after swimming.
2) BIKE/MTB 1600 m – 2 laps of 800 m on mixed terrain (grass, asphalt). It is recommended that children use mountain bikes for this discipline!
